Lifestyle Management Client Successes
After years of taking my body for granted I finally decided that I needed to make a lifestyle change. This journey has probably taken me a lot longer than most, but I accept full responsibility for that. After seeing how great two of my friends looked from making changes in their own lives I was inspired and motivated to do so as well. The common factor, Personal Trainer/Nutrition Coach and Brittany Gaylord . I will never be able to say enough positive things about Brittany and how she has helped/guided me on my journey to live a healthy lifestyle. After initially meeting her and going over goals and expectations, I completely understood that “you get what you put into it.”
From the moment I started training with Brittany I did not feel intimidated or not “fit” enough to workout at her gym, Fit Images. Everyone that trains there is supportive of each other, regardless of fitness level, which in turn helps promote and inspire a sense of camaraderie and a provides great support system. Yes, there are/were times when I have been frustrated and didn’t think I was making any progress and during those times I was able to talk to Brittany and together we were able to address my areas of concern. Thank you so much Brittany for everything you have taught me and for putting up with me as well 😉 ! I can’t wait to see how much further I can and will go!!! Amanda Pena – My personal motivation. This is what 7months of no excuses looks like. Amanda is a mother of 6, wife, pediatric nurse and one of the most amazing woman I know. I feel so privileged she chose me as her coach.
I found Fit Images when I was on a downward spiral and heading toward my rock bottom. I was working 12-16 hours a day, drinking heavily, fatigued, stressed, depressed, unable to sleep, eating out of comfort and I had really lost my zest for life. I put my work before my well being and I knew that I needed to find something to pull me out of my funk and to start taking care of me. I met Brittany in September of 2013 after working with a trainer for 6 months and seeing no results. I have to admit I was a little skeptical of investing more money on training but there was something about Brittany that felt like a match so I decided to take a chance. I started the Lifestyle Management program immediately. Brittany created a meal plan for me and started me in classes at Max Impact along with a couple of training sessions with her each week. In two short weeks of classes, training and following my food plan I started to see results. The scale wasn’t moving much, but my body was changing quickly. I was amazed at the differences I saw in my 4 week progress pics. I had lost only 3 lbs but everything was a lot more compact. After 16 weeks I was the smallest that I have ever been in my adult life and Brittany and I were planning my first photo shoot. She had to do some persuading to get me on board but I am so glad she did. The pictures turned out so beautiful and helped me gain the confidence that I could never seem to find. Brittany knew it was exactly what I needed to keep me moving forward. I’ve lost around 20 lbs and 12% body fat but what I gained is the most important. I found my confidence, strength and discipline I never knew I had. I got my zest for life back and the ability to look in the mirror and finally be happy with what I see. I am so happy with the results! I will forever be grateful for the team at Fit Images. Brittany and Bill are such wonderful coaches and they have managed to bring out the best in me when I needed it the most. The journey is not quite over yet but I know with this team on my side I can conquer any challenges in my path. 🙂
